    • How do I register at ‘Minna no Kyozai’ website to become a user?
      You can register here.
    • Do I need a certification or qualification for user registration?
      ‘Minna no Kyozai’ website is aimed at Japanese-language teachers. However, those who are studying to become Japanese-language teachers and those who are interested in Japanese-language education are all welcome to register. Please carefully read Register, please! before registering.
    • Is there a fee for user registration?
      There is no fee for user registration. Content is also free of charge.
    • Why is user registration necessary?
      There are two reasons. One is to protect the copyright of materials and ideas provided by The Japan Foundation and other users. The other reason is to enable Japanese-language teachers using this site all over the world to exchange information.
    • I do not want other users know my email address or the name of my organization.
      When you register you can choose whether or not to disclose your name, email address and name of your organization, to other users of ‘Minna no Kyozai’ website. You can also change the settings to disclose or not disclose your information on Profile of My Page after registration. You can register without entering name of your organization.
    • Can I register as a user under my organization's name?
      All users must register individually. You can register materials and ideas you are interested in using as well as view comments and ideas you contributed on My Page. There is no maximum number of users per school. If your school has only one computer, having different e-mail addresses allows users to have their own My Page.
    • Confirmation e-mail does not come after user registration.
      If you do not receive the confirmation e-mail, the following causes should be considered.

      ・The e-mail address you registered includes an error.
       - Please re-register.

      ・The confirmation e-mail is isolated in a spam folder, etc.
      - Depending on your provider, etc., there are cases where the confirmation is treated as "spam mail."
      Please check the spam folder.

      ・The domain or address is blocked.
       - Please set up as follows so that the mail can be received:
        ・For domain designation "jpf.go.jp"
        ・For address designation "kyozai[at]jpf.go.jp"
              *Please change the (at) part to @ before sending.

      If you still do not receive the e-mail, please inquire from "Inquiry".
    • I forgot my password.
      You can reset your password on the For users who have forgotten their password page. Enter your user registered email address in the “For users who have forgotten their password” section and press the “Send” button. You will receive a message containing a URL for resetting your password at your registered email address. Access the URL listed in the message and reset your password.This service is only available for registered addresses. If you have forgotten your registered email address, please re-register as a user here.
    • Although I pressed the "Send" button on the "For users who have forgotten their password" page, the mail has not arrived.
      If you do not receive the e-mail from the 'Minna no kyozai' website, the following causes should be considered.

      ・The entered e-mail address is incorrect
       - Be careful of extra spaces, upper case and lower case letters, and try again.

      ・The entered e-mail address is not the mail address you registered.
      - Enter your e-mail address for user registration.
      If you have forgotten your registered email address, please re-register.

      ・The confirmation email is isolated in a spam folder, etc.
      - Depending on your provider, etc., there are cases where the confirmation is judged as "spam mail."
      Please check the spam folder.

      ・The domain or address is set up as designated reception.
       - Please set up as follows so that the mail can be received.
        ・For domain designation "jpf.go.jp"
        ・For address designation "kyozai[at]jpf.go.jp"

    • I registered as a user but cannot log in.
      When there is a delivery error of The Japan Foundation’s email magazine at your registered email address, use of the site may have been suspended in order to protect copyright. If this seems to be the case, please contact us at Inquiry. When the message “please log in” appears when you move to another page after already logging in, your browser (such as Google Chrome) may be set not to accept cookies; please change the settings so that the browser will accept cookies. You can review how to change settings with the browser help function, or contact us at Inquiry if you have a question about changing the settings.
    • I want to change my screen name.
      Your screen name cannot be changed. If a change is absolutely necessary, please cancel your membership and re-register. To cancel your membership, please contact us at Inquiry.
    • I want to change my password.
      You can change it on Profile of My Page.
    • My organization has changed.
      Please make the change on Profile of My Page.
    • My email address has changed.
      Please make the change on Profile of My Page.
    • I want to stop receiving the email magazine.
      You can change the settings on Profile of My Page.
    • I want to cancel my membership.
      From the Inquiry page, please send us the message “I want to cancel my membership.” Once you cancel your membership, all your registered information will be deleted from the database after a certain period of time. For this reason, registered content cannot be recovered. When you want to use ‘Minna no Kyozai’ website again after cancellation, please re-register.
    • I want to cancel my membership in the 'Minna no Kyozai' website but not in the ‘Minna no Can-do’ website.
      If you cancel your ‘Minna no Kyozai’ website membership, you will not be able to log in to ‘Minna no Can-do’ website. You cannot cancel membership in only one of the sites.
    • I want to contribute photos I took and handouts I prepared for my class. How can I send them?
      Thank you for your offer. Please send them from Send Materials/Ideas in Forum.
    • I want to send comments on materials and ideas on this site.
      Please send from “Send Comments” at the bottom of each materials and ideas. If you have used the materials, please let us know the details, such as how you used the materials, what you liked about the materials or ideas, and how your learners responded to them.
    • How are the copyrights of contributed materials and ideas handled?
      Copyrights belong to the users who wrote and contributed the materials and ideas. Other users can use the materials/ideas free of charge without permission of the copyright holders, only in the following manner for the purposes of Japanese-Language education or Japanese-language study:
      • Copying or modifying the material and creating another worksheet or other teaching material for use in class.
    • I want to use the resources of the ‘Minna no Kyozai’ website for handouts distributed during class. Do I need to ask for permission?
      You do not need to ask for permission when using any the resources of the ‘Minna no Kyozai’ website during class activities.
    • I want to use the resources of the ‘Minna no Kyozai’ website to make online teaching materials. Do I need to ask for permission?
      If you want to use the resources of the ‘Minna no Kyozai’ website to make online teaching materials, or release your teaching materials containing the resources of the ‘Minna no Kyozai’ website on online platforms, please ask for permission in advance. Please contact us through the Inquiry and provide us with the information listed below.

    • I am making Japanese-language teaching materials that will be sold for a fee. Can I use the resources on the ‘Minna no Kyozai’ website?
